When furnishing a modern living room , you are mainly talking about style. This is in contrast when you are talking about the design of a modern bathroom or a modern kitchen, where it is also about modern amenities and conveniences. Of course, in a living room you also have to deal with modern conveniences, such as the TV or lighting, but in this case these are secondary to the style. A modern living room is characterized by clean lines, which can be reflected in the furniture, such as the TV cabinet, the sofa and the coffee table. But the use of materials can have a major impact on the atmosphere and appearance. And yet one modern living room can look completely different from another living room.

1. Open format
This modern living room was designed by architect Raz Melamed. He was commissioned to design a very beautiful home located in Tel Aviv. The house has a living area of 70m2, which had to be completely renovated and modernized. Incidence of light played an important role. That is why the interior architect has opted for large glass walls and doors to the garden, so that the incidence of light is optimal. In addition, an open layout has also been created, whereby not only an open kitchen has been created in the living room, but the fixed wall between the bedroom and the living room has been replaced by large glass pivot doors. This not only ensures that the light can easily flow throughout the house, but it also just looks very cool and modern. A gray concrete floor was chosen, combined with tightly plastered white walls. The open kitchen is furnished with a sleek black cupboard wall and a large cooking island . Click here to see more photos of this beautiful loft home.
